Last week SmartPTT Team went to Las Vegas to meet our partners during Motorola Channel Partner Expo (CPE 2016) and International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE 2016). Traditionally, CPE and IWCE give us a great chance to meet all our present and potential partners, to exchange our experience in MOTOTRBO radio systems and to get an idea of global trends and innovative technologies in the industry.
This year in Las Vegas Motorola has announced that SmartPTT PLUS will be Motorola Sold & Supported in North America which was a long-awaited news for everyone. Motorola pointed up that SmartPTT PLUS will support MOTOTRBO Capacity Max, which is a scalable, highly secure trunked radio communications solution by Motorola, supporting up to 15 sites with up to 3,000 users per site. Also it was announced that SmartPTT PLUS will support the new Indoor Tracking feature – a specially designed Indoor Positioning System for use with Motorola MOTOTRBO radios. The solution supplements subscriber GPS tracking, allowing dispatchers to monitor the position of employees whether they are located indoors or outdoors. These 3 announcements sparked a lot of interest of CPE and IWCE visitors and initiated extensive public discourse.
